💨 Abstract
A 69-year-old Japanese tourist, Hibino Morimasa, died after falling 22ft from the Pantheon in Rome. He reportedly suffered a sudden illness, lost balance, and fell into the monument’s moat. A priest alerted authorities, but he was unresponsive by the time emergency services arrived. Police reviewed CCTV footage and are investigating. The Pantheon, a historic Catholic church and popular attraction, is managed by Italy and the Vatican.
