💨 Abstract
After a five-year ban, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) resumed flights to the UK on October 25. The ban was imposed by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency following a 2020 crash in Karachi, which revealed that many PIA pilots had fake or irregular licenses. The airline, which had a history of safety issues, was allowed to resume flights after the ban was lifted in November 2024.
