💨 Abstract
Five people have been arrested for allegedly supplying counterfeit prescription pills that led to the death of Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, the 19-year-old grandson of actor Robert De Niro. The group is accused of distributing pills that killed three teenagers, including Leandro, who died in 2023 from a suspected drug overdose. Authorities allege that a woman, identified as CC-1, supplied Leandro with a combination of fentanyl and Xanax before his death.
