💨 Abstract

Jen Pickering, 39, from Liverpool, was diagnosed with thoracic endometriosis after experiencing repeated lung collapses linked to her menstrual cycle. This rare form of endometriosis causes tissue similar to uterine lining to grow in the chest cavity, often on the diaphragm or lungs. Jen endured 16 lung collapses before surgery stabilized her condition.
