💨 Abstract
Mary Earps, former England goalkeeper, criticized manager Sarina Wiegman for selecting Hannah Hampton, accusing her of rewarding "bad behavior." In her autobiography, Earps claimed Hampton disrupted training and was dropped in 2022 for attitude issues. Despite this, Hampton was recalled, eventually becoming first-choice, leading Earps to question Wiegman’s decision. Feeling betrayed, Earps retired, accusing Wiegman of dishonesty.
