💨 Abstract

Comedian Paul O’Grady, who died in March 2023 at 67 from cardiac arrhythmia, reportedly refused a life-saving defibrillator implant to avoid disrupting his work. Despite being in the middle of a UK tour and filming projects, he prioritized his career and personal freedom. His close friend and manager revealed he feared losing control during performances. A new book details his final months.
