Gopichand Hinduja, the patriarch of the UK's richest family, passed away at 85 in London after a long illness. The Hinduja family, with a net worth of £35.3bn, topped the 2025 Sunday Times Rich List for the second consecutive year. Gopichand's older brother Srichand died in 2023. The family's business operations in India are run by brother Ashok.
