Lewis Pidoux, a Bristol man, saves £200 monthly by foraging for wild ingredients like nettles, mushrooms, and dandelions, which make up about a fifth of his diet. He aims to increase this to nearly 100%. Foraging has helped him save significantly on food shopping, especially during spring. Lewis started a YouTube channel six years ago to educate people about wild foods, noting increased interest during the pandemic.
