💨 Abstract

After a truck crash in Mississippi, only one of the escaped monkeys remains at large. Fourteen have been killed, including one shot by a woman who believed the monkeys carried diseases. The transport company, PreLabs, denies the monkeys were infectious but warns they may be aggressive and disoriented. The incident highlights the secrecy surrounding animal research.
