Ronnie O’Sullivan lost to Jack Lisowski in the International Championship but stayed to mentor 14-year-old Michał Szubarczyk. Lisowski won 6-5 in a close match, ending his losing streak against O’Sullivan. Szubarczyk, the youngest pro on the World Snooker Tour, has shown impressive skills, winning multiple championships and earning praise from Mark Williams.
