💨 Abstract
Royal Mail is replacing traditional postboxes with solar-powered ones that accept parcels and letters but require unobstructed solar panels, banning knitted toppers. The new boxes, being installed across the UK, feature a digital system where users must print labels at home and scan them to open the slot. While some find them convenient, others struggle with the technology or miss the nostalgia of old postboxes.
