💨 Abstract
In 1975, Rob and Diane Parsons opened their door to a man named Ronnie Lockwood, who had been abandoned as a child and had nowhere to go. They took him in for Christmas, intending it to be temporary, but ended up caring for him for 45 years. Ronnie had learning difficulties and a traumatic past, but he became a beloved member of their family, helping with chores and caring for their children.
