đź’¨ Abstract
In Cambridgeshire, a large-scale drill simulated a chemical attack, involving 600 emergency services, armed forces, and NHS staff. The exercise, held at an abandoned hospital, tested responses to CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive) incidents. Security expert Will Geddes noted that while such drills are routine, their frequency could indicate heightened threats, potentially from Russia or extremist groups.
