💨 Abstract

Activists from the Citizens’ Arrest Network detained Lawrence Gosden, CEO of Southern Water, accusing him of serious sewage pollution and public nuisance. They cited illegal sewage spills, poor equipment maintenance, and mismanagement of funds. The activists presented evidence to the police, but Gosden was released. Southern Water is under investigation for severe sewage pollution and was recently linked to a plastic bead spill at Camber Sands.
