💨 Abstract
In 1983, feminist Andrea Dworkin called for a 24-hour truce from rape, highlighting the ongoing epidemic of sexual violence against women. Today, filmmaker Lorien Haynes has revived Dworkin's plea in a short film, "I Want A 24-Hour Rape Truce," featuring 120 voices, including celebrities and survivors, to raise awareness on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
