💨 Abstract

Women in tech face significant challenges, including earning 12% less per hour than men and being four times more likely to have part-time roles. Black women make up only 0.6% of the workforce. Despite efforts to increase diversity, the percentage of women in tech has remained stagnant at around 22% since 1998. Women often encounter sexism and bullying, with examples including being shouted at during meetings and facing discrimination after maternity leave.
