A search is ongoing for a tourist who fell from the TUI-operated cruise ship Marella Explorer 2 north of the Canary Islands. The incident was reported yesterday morning as the ship traveled from Madeira to the Canaries. Spanish coastguards, police, and a German-flagged yacht are involved in the search. The ship's current location is Santa Cruz, Tenerife. The passenger's identity, nationality, and circumstances of the fall remain undisclosed.
