💨 Abstract
An amber warning for heavy rain, potentially causing landslides, has been issued for South Wales, with up to 120mm of rain expected in 24 hours. The ground is already saturated, exacerbating flood risks. A yellow warning is also in effect for other parts of Wales and England. Authorities advise caution near rivers and flooded areas. The outlook for Tuesday and Wednesday is brighter, with less heavy rain expected. Natural Resources Wales has issued 38 flood alerts.
