💨 Abstract
Starting December 1, 2025, the UK will issue new passports featuring King Charles III's Coat of Arms and images of UNESCO-protected UK landscapes, including Ben Nevis and the Giant’s Causeway. The new design includes advanced holographic and translucent security features, making it the most secure British passport yet. Existing passports remain valid, but renewals will receive the new design. The cost of renewal remains unchanged.
