💨 Abstract

Rescuers are searching for 18-year-old British hiker George Smyth, who vanished near Romania’s Dracula’s Castle after calling for help due to exhaustion and hypothermia. His mother, Jo Smyth, joined the search, which has been hindered by harsh weather. A rucksack was found, but no trace of George. The mountainous terrain, with sudden weather changes and freezing conditions, poses extreme risks.
