💨 Abstract
US forces, including the Coast Guard and FBI marines, seized a Venezuelan oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela. The operation, involving a raid on the tanker, is part of the Trump administration's efforts to pressure President Nicolas Maduro, who has been charged with narcoterrorism. The seizure is the first known action against an oil tanker since a military build-up in the region and follows strikes against suspected drug vessels.
