💨 Abstract

In a sophisticated heist reminiscent of "Ocean's Eleven," thieves drilled into the vault of a Sparkasse bank in Buer, Germany, over Christmas, stealing approximately £30 million in gold, cash, and jewelry from 3,300 safety deposit boxes. The robbers used a 20kg drill to breach an 18-inch concrete wall and emptied most of the boxes.
