💨 Abstract
Four men were rescued after their ski-boat drifted onto a 130ft-high dam on the Vaal River in South Africa. The men clung to the boat as water rushed over the edge. A multi-agency rescue operation was launched, diverting water and using a buoy line to safely bring the men to shore. They were uninjured. The boat had reportedly suffered a mechanical failure.
