💨 Abstract
Jesy Nelson, a former Little Mix star, revealed that her premature twin daughters have been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type one, a severe muscular disease affecting all muscles, including those needed for breathing and swallowing. Doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital informed her that the girls will likely be disabled and never walk. Despite this, Nelson is hopeful as the twins have begun treatment.
