💨 Abstract

A senior Russian diplomat was found dead in the Russian Embassy in Cyprus, reportedly by suicide, but details are scant. Meanwhile, a prominent Russian businessman, Vladislav Baumgertner, vanished near Limassol. His disappearance sparked a search, but severe weather halted efforts. The two incidents occurred within a day of each other, but no confirmed link has been established.
