đź’¨ Abstract
New research indicates that the shingles vaccine may help older adults live longer by slowing biological ageing. A study of over 3,800 participants aged 70 or older found that those who received the shingles jab showed better results in four key aspects of biological ageing, including reduced inflammation. The vaccine, which protects against shingles and related complications, may also contribute to healthier ageing by modulating biological systems beyond infection prevention.
