The author recounts her struggle with a serious health issue, highlighting the dismissive attitude she faced from healthcare professionals. Initially, her symptoms were ignored, and she was sent home without proper examination. Only when her partner, a white man, accompanied her did she receive basic tests. Frustrated by the lack of progress, she sought private healthcare and was diagnosed with a uterine issue.
