💨 Abstract

The author recounts their journey as a trans woman, starting with a disappointing reunion with an old wrestling friend, Chris Harris, who initially didn't recognize her. She reflects on her past struggles with identity, growing up in a conservative home and suppressing her true self while pursuing a wrestling career. After leaving wrestling and moving to Denver, she began her transition and found support from her new community and old wrestling friends.
