💨 Abstract

A five-year-old boy, Liam Ramos, detained by ICE, was finally allowed to return home. Liam and his father, Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, were detained on February 20 after returning from nursery. The incident went viral, with Congressman Joaquin Castro facilitating their release and return to Minnesota. Liam was initially taken to a detention center in Dilley, Texas, over 1,300 miles away.
