💨 Abstract

On January 30, a panoramic tower ride in Balneario Camboriu, Brazil, malfunctioned, stranding around 40 people nearly 200 feet above the ground. The Super Gyro Tower suddenly stopped and then froze, prompting a rescue operation. Passengers were lowered using ropes and a ladder truck. The incident was caused by a power outage triggering the ride's safety lock. All passengers were safely evacuated, and the ride will undergo maintenance.
