James Van Der Beek, famous for his role as Dawson Leery in "Dawson's Creek," passed away at 48. His family confirmed his peaceful death on February 11 but did not disclose the cause. Van Der Beek was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in 2023. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, and their six children. The family requested privacy during their time of grief.
