đ¨ Abstract
Starting February 25, 2026, British dual citizens must present a valid UK passport or a certificate of entitlement to enter the UK. This change is part of the new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme, which requires visitors from visa-exempt countries to obtain an ETA before arrival. Dual citizens previously could use non-British passports, but now must prove their status with a UK passport or certificate.
