💨 Abstract

Robert Aramayo, who won both the BAFTA for best actor and the EE Rising Star Award, called for greater understanding and grace towards Tourette syndrome. This followed an incident where invited guest John Davidson, who has Tourette's, shouted racial slurs during the ceremony. Aramayo, who played Davidson in the film "I Swear," emphasized the need for education and empathy, noting that Tourette's is complex and often misunderstood.
