💨 Abstract

Manchester United's Jack Fletcher, son of club legend Darren Fletcher, received a six-game ban and a £1,500 fine for using unacceptable language during an Under-21 match. The 18-year-old was charged with an aggravated breach for using language referencing sexual orientation. Fletcher apologized, stating he did not intend his words as a homophobic insult but acknowledged their inappropriateness.
