💨 Abstract
In December 2025, a mother brought her five-year-old son, Mylo, to the hospital with blisters around his mouth. Despite her insistence that something was seriously wrong, doctors initially dismissed her concerns, diagnosing Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Mylo's condition worsened, leading to multiple hospital admissions over a year. He was eventually diagnosed with Reactive Infectious Mucocutaneous Eruption (RIME), which mimics Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.
