💨 Abstract
Mojtaba Khamenei, son of late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been chosen to succeed his father. Mojtaba, previously a key figure in Iran's power structure, will now lead the country's war strategy and control its military and nuclear capabilities. His selection follows a period of internal rifts and external criticism, notably from former U.S. President Donald Trump.
