💨 Abstract

Moscow and other major Russian cities have experienced internet outages for over a week, affecting Wi-Fi and mobile services. Residents have turned to walkie-talkies, pagers, and paper maps for communication. Sales of these items have surged, with walkie-talkies and landline phones up by 25% and pagers by 73%. The outage follows a new law allowing the FSB to order telecom shutdowns.
