💨 Abstract

Despite escalating Middle East tensions, Turkey's major tourist destinations remain safe and operational. In 2025, Turkey attracted 63.4 million visitors, primarily from Russia, Germany, and the UK. While geopolitical concerns exist, popular spots like Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Antalya have no travel warnings. The UK Foreign Office advises caution near the Syrian border due to terrorism risks and has updated guidance for travel via the Iranian border.
