David Tennant will reprise his role as the Tenth Doctor in 15 new audio adventures with Big Finish, starting summer 2027. The episodes will be released bi-monthly, with three forming a special boxset. Tennant expressed his enthusiasm for the project, and Big Finish's creative director Nicholas Briggs promised "fast, funny, scary audio dramas." This announcement follows fan speculation about Tennant's return to the show.
