💨 Abstract
Allen Palmer, known for his mathematical prowess, began showing signs of dementia 13 years ago. Diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2013, his family rallied to support him, maintaining routines and providing constant care. Despite the challenges, they ensured Allen remained active and engaged, even taking him on a cruise. Allen passed away peacefully at home in 2025, surrounded by his family.
