💨 Abstract
Due to a Supreme Court ruling defining women by biological sex, Girlguiding in the UK will ban trans girls by September 6. The organization, equivalent to the Girl Scouts in the US, must comply with its governing documents but affirms its support for the LGBTQ+ community. Current trans girls and young women, as well as those volunteering in women-only roles, will be affected. The ban was first announced in December.
