💨 Abstract
Millions of UK drivers who were affected by unfair car loan deals since 2007 may receive an average of £830 each, totaling £7.5bn. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has finalized a redress scheme after hidden commissions were uncovered. The scheme covers 12.1 million agreements, with payouts capped in about one-third of cases.
