💨 Abstract
NASA has unveiled a $20 billion plan to establish a lunar base by the end of President Trump's term, aiming to regain American leadership in space. The strategy includes sending a nuclear-powered spacecraft to Mars and accelerating the Artemis program to achieve lunar landings annually starting in 2027. NASA will build the base on the Moon's surface using components originally planned for a lunar space station.
