The gaming industry is facing significant turmoil, with multiple studios announcing layoffs and closures. Epic Games, developer of Fortnite, recently laid off 1,000 employees, and other studios like Eidos-Montréal and Ivy Road have followed suit. Eidos-Montréal cut 124 jobs and canceled an unannounced project, while Ivy Road is shutting down entirely after failing to secure funding.
