💨 Abstract
Scott Mills, a longtime BBC presenter, was abruptly fired following a police investigation into allegations of serious sexual offences against a teenage boy between 1997 and 2000. The investigation, which began in 2016, was closed in 2019 without charges. Mills, who was one of the BBC's highest-paid presenters, had recently taken over the Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
