💨 Abstract

Around 270 British troops from 16 Air Assault Brigade parachuted from RAF A400M aircraft over Salisbury Plain in the UK's largest military jump in over a decade. The exercise, involving a fourth plane dropping supplies, tested the UK's Joint Airborne Task Force's rapid deployment capabilities amidst Middle Eastern tensions. Troops from 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment practiced reinforcing a NATO ally, setting up defenses, and preparing for combat with modern weapons.
