The author embarked on a polar expedition in Finse, Norway, expecting a leisurely experience but found it to be a challenging Arctic survival test. Finse, a remote, high-altitude outpost with a population of 9, is characterized by its harsh, white landscape and powerful winds. The expedition involved skiing with pulk sleds, navigating glaciers, and enduring extreme conditions.
