💨 Abstract

At an Easter fair in Ometepec, Mexico, a fairground ride called 'The Hammer' malfunctioned, causing a young woman to fall. She was caught mid-air by a man below. Four people were injured, with two taken to the hospital. The accident was due to a mechanical fault, though human error may also have been involved. Officials are investigating and conducting safety checks on other rides. The condition of the injured is unknown.
