đź’¨ Abstract

In 2011, Warren Jeffs, leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), was sentenced to life in prison for sexual assaults on minors. After his arrest, Samuel Bateman emerged as a new leader, amassing followers and multiple underage wives. Christine Marie and Tolga Katas, a couple documenting the cult, secretly gathered evidence leading to Bateman's arrest.
