💨 Abstract

Starting April 10, travelers from the UK and non-EU countries may face up to four-hour delays at EU airports due to new biometric entry and exit checks. The EU's Entry and Exit System (EES) requires photography and fingerprinting for all non-EU travelers. Experts advise allowing extra time for travel, bringing snacks, and water due to anticipated long queues. The system aims to strengthen border security and detect overstayers, replacing physical passport stamps with digital records.
